The RAEGE project (Portugues/Spanish acronym for Atlantic Network of Geodynamic and Space Stations) is a cooperation project established between the Government of Spain and the Regional Government of the Azores that intends the construction and operation of 4 fundamental space geodetic stations: 2 in Spain (Yebes and Gran Canaria) and 2 in the archipelago of the Azores, Portugal (Santa Maria and Flores). This is a unique geodetic endeavor fostered by the strong external cooperation between countries. In this presentation I pretend to introduce the RAEGE Network, the Stations, the space geodetic techniques and the equipment used, and the technology developed.
