The Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD) in partnership with the Fulbright Commission Portugal, visited 3 islands in the Azores to present opportunities to study and research in the USA to the Azorean academic and scientific community.
Rita Faden, president of FLAD, talked about the importance of cultural recognition of the Azores: “The Azores have, among other dimensions, an enormous artistic and cultural importance that must be recognized. That is why we want to contribute to the Azorean cultural agenda in this post-pandemic context and work on the perception of the Azores as a place of artistic training.”
