From the 3rd to the 6th of May, the 45th edition of WOCSDICE (Workshop on Compound Semiconductor Devices and Integrated Circuits held in Europe) will be held in Ponta Delgada, Azores, together with the 16th edition of EXMATEC (Expert Evaluation and Control of Compound Semiconductor Materials and Technologies).
These two conferences, together in one, represent an opportunity for the acquisition of knowledge as well as the exchange of ideas about projects and the latest advances in the following topics:
- Composite semiconductors, including broadband and ultra-wideband materials;
- Advanced electronic, magnetic, optoelectrical, and photonic semiconductor devices (materials, processing, characterization, and modeling);
- Organic Electronics;
- Nanomaterials, including 2D materials, surfaces, and interfaces (growth, characterization, theory, and applications);
The awards are intended for postgraduate students who want to publicize their research work. These are sponsored by major Portuguese scientific and research entities that offer a cash prize and a certificate to the winners.
