On November 20, 2021, Santa Maria high school, within the scope of the internal project “From Earth to Space”, which aims developing skills in the space area and implement educational models by the team of students, invited an Aerospace Engineer from Santa Maria’s RAEGE Station (João Salmim Ferreira) to give a lecture about space propulsion.
Although this theme has nothing to do with all the work carried out at the RAEGE Station, knowledge sharing is a mission of RAEGE-Az. During the lecture, topics such as propulsion force, specific impulse, and delta-v were discussed, as well as the allusion to the rocket equation and the concept of stages.
