During the month of November, more specifically on the 24th, Scientific Culture Day is celebrated in honor of Rómulo de Carvalho, who was a professor of Physics and Chemistry, science communicator, researcher, and poet under the pseudonym António Gedeão.
In order to celebrate this date, RAEGE-Az together with Expolab - Centro Ciência Viva, took to schools an activity in the form of theatre where students were challenged to interpret some of the scientists who changed the history of humanity with their discoveries. We're talking about names like Isaac Newton, Galileo Galilei, Charles Darwin, and Marie Currie.
During the presentations, and after dressing with some props alluding to the scientists, the students interpreted what was being narrated, focusing on some of their discoveries and, in the end, some experiments that proved them.
