On July 16, 2021, RAEGE-Az and OASA – Santana Astronomical Observatory Azores - joined in an action to develop pre-events for MacaronightEU 2021 at the CAL’s (Ludic Activity Centre) of Santo Espírito, Aeroporto, and Vila do Porto. In order to support the dissemination of existing space technologies on the island and the work developed in favor of the region.
Throughout the day, OASA did interactive activities such as “Chemical Rockets” and “Robot Doc”, where the youngest could, in a practical way, understand how technology was brought into space, as well as all the steps to do it safely.
Launching rockets and scheduling tasks safely are essential to getting into space and, from there, observe and study the Universe and, of course, our planet!
