IAG Scientific Assembly 2021, Splinter meeting of the “Inter-Commission Commitee on “Geodesy for Climate Research” (ICCC)

From June 28 to July 2, 2021, in Beijing, China, the Scientific Assembly of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG) was held, which, due to the global pandemic, was organized as a virtual conference.

The Santa Maria’s RAEGE Station was present at the session dedicated to “Geodesy for Climate Studies” with the participation of Abel García, Mariana Moreira, Diogo Avelar, and João Salmim, who also attended the presentation by José António Lopéz-Pérez (Director of the RAEGE network) on the status of the RAEGE project.

The session “Geodesy for Climate Studies” allowed the approach to various topics such as the Earth's gravitational field, Earth's rotation and geodynamics, navigation and positioning, and geodetic observation system, among many others.
